Sushi Zanmai @ Low Yat

It was a bad experience when we were first time dine-in at SushiZanmai at The Garden.

We decided to give it a try again at different place. There’s one day I went to shop with sisters for CNY clothes around KL area. We wanted to dine in at Fahrenheit, but the queue was too long. So we decided to stop by at Sushi Zanmai, Lowyat.

Luckily we just need to wait for awhile at there before being seated.

The services at there are quite good, BUT the food served was SUPER SLOW.

It is worth it when the food is delicious.

And this was our first time having Japanese food together after so long. LOL.

We have browsed the menu and got attracted by this, Salmon Set!!

We’re always SALMON LOVER, so we ordered lots of salmon! >_<!!

Sake Zanmai RM 20.80

Salmon sushi, aburi salmon sushi, smoked salmon & salmon maki. This is our most favorite dishes among the others that we ordered. The tenderness of salmon was just right. The salmon was thick enough for us to satisfy our cravings.

And “WE LOVE RAW SASHIMI !!”

Soft Shell Crab Maki RM 8.80

Rice wrapped with soft shell crab and coated with salmon fish roe.

It is not up to expectation where the salmon fish roe is not fully covered. I personally still prefer Sushi Tei.

Kani Corn RM 1.80 + Tamago Mentai RM 2.80 + Ika Sushi RM 2.80

Kani corn : Rice wrapped with corn with crabmeat.

Tamago Mentai: Egg roll with rice and mentai sauce. I personally doesn’t like this dish where it just a tamago with Mentai and you will be charged for double price of tamago sushi.

I would prefer Ika Sushi where it is raw. At least it is something different.

Curry Rice RM 9.80 (small)

Curry sauce with chicken and rice.

It does smell good when it was served. However, the curry sauce was not up to expectation where the sauce was too bland for me. The spiciness was zero level to me.

Katsu Zaru Soba RM 11.80

Soba dipped with COLD soy sauce and fried chicken. Indeed it was a nice dish!! The COLD soy sauce was not too salty and the soba was quite ‘QQ’ too.
